The Atelier
Ay Stitches is an indigenous Lagos fashion house and academy. We design shirts, native attire, suits, corporate wear and bridal couture — and we train the next generation of designers in the same disciplined craft. Here, education happens at the cutting table, not behind a desk.
Flat-pattern drafting, draping & grading from first principles
Learn in a working studio with industrial machines and live briefs
Taught by certified designers with years of practice in Lagos fashion
Graduate with a portfolio and a recognized certificate.
The Studio Floor
A glimpse of the discipline — the tools, the stitch, the finished garment. This is what your hands will learn. A glimpse of the discipline — the tools, the stitch, the finished garment. This is what your hands will learn.

From the Cutting Table
“I came in unable to thread a machine. Nine months later I cut, drafted and sewed my own bridal collection. Ay Stitches rewired how I see a garment.”
“The pattern drafting module alone was worth it. The instructors push precision — every millimetre matters. That discipline changed my tailoring business.”
“It feels like an atelier, not a school. You learn on real fabric, real briefs, real deadlines. I left with a portfolio I'm proud to show clients.”
